Continuing Education Credits
AHP Members group insurance plans

If you want Continuing Education Credits for a particular AHP Sponsored event, before you register for the event, please check with you licensing or credentialing board to make sure the program qualifies for that board.

AHP is recognized by the following boards and departments to offer qualifying courses for Continuing Education Credits: California Board of Behavioral Sciences, provider number PCE 604 for California LCSWs and MFTs; National Board for Certified Counselors, provider #5360; California Board of Registered Nursing, provider #CEP8738; The State of Illinois Department of Professional Regulation, license #159-000118 for Registered Social Workers.

Psychologists: Psychologists can obtain CE hours for qualifying programs through the co-sponsorship of the Spiritual Competency Resource Center (SCRC). The SCRC is certified by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education to psychologists. SCRC maintains responsibility for the qualifying programs.

Massage Therapists: The American Massage Therapy Association (http://www.amtamassage.org/education/conedreq.html) and the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals do not certify any programs, but will accept these hours if the individual massage therapist feels they are applicable to his or her practice.
