In that regard, I previously wrote an AHP blog, which I want to call attention to again as the United States faces an important mid-term election. I re-titled that AHP blog, "A Humanistic Approach To Politics: AHP's Call For A Politics Of Truth". So, like many others, the message here is a simple one for the upcoming election in the United States: Exercise Your Personal Power by Voting.
When you vote, it is important to be mindful of a profound message that was given to us awhile ago by an extremely wise champion for human dignity and humane societies: Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. That message was as follows:
"Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.”
It is time, therefore, to truly listen to and to hear that meaningful and “powerful and loving” message. It is time to truly be “conscious co-creators” and to be “empowered human beings” that nurture human dignity and humane societies.
