The Journal of Humanistic Psychology was founded by Abraham Maslow and Anthony Sutich in 1961. It is the official journal of the Association for Humanistic Psychology. Thomas Greening, JHP's former chief editor (1970-2005), is a member of the faculty. The current editor, Kirk J. Schneider, is Vice President of the Existential-Humanistic Institute, and Adjunct Faculty at Saybrook University and at Institute of Integral Studies.
